HAPPY (belated) BIRTHDAY, MR. MIKE "THE MONKEY" DIRNT!... And now a half-assed poem to Mike,
of whom I call "my cute wittle Monkey-Face":
Oh, never was there such a Mikey Dirnt,
Who people wish they could be, but sadly weren't.
His hair a rich brown topped with many a shiny, golden lace.
His long, lanky arms just a-slappin' dat bass!
His eyes, just as beautiful a blue as the never-ending seas,
He's in a fucking band that's first name is the same color as PEAS.
(Okay, I'm sorry: I know that was bad. I'll try harder, just a tad).
Mike, you're the best! A guy that can be described as really spunky,
I think we'd also all agree that you look kinda like a monkey! (In a cute way lol)
You're the greatest guy and the best bass player Green Day could have ever had,
and with such a "punk" reputation, who knew you'd be such a sweet, wonderful dad?
Mr. Mikey, we love you and we just wanted to say
that we hope you had the most wonderful birthday today!
Happy Birthday, Mr. Mike Dirnt! You're a star!
